Brother Knights and Families:

Again many of our Councils answered the bell that I rang a couple of months ago regarding a family event marking our Order's Family of the Week in August which we extended through September and October.

A short list of some examples for your enjoyment as well as to promote a sense of pride regarding what we Indiana Knights and families do together!!!
Families volunteering at a fund raising events for the betterment of Catholic initiatives and their communities.
Families participating in council functions that benefited local charities with foodstuffs and food for less advantaged.
Families sponsoring picnics for their council and inviting friends and neighbors to join in.  Several councils participated in this type of activity!!!
Families initiating fund raising events that perpetuate themselves during the coming months.

I am also receiving several activity reports concerning other family events, however my travels tell me that you not listing all of them.  Please do so, because as many of you have probably noticed, I really enjoy "tooting the horns" of councils that exhibit Columbianism.  Our organization is the best of its type on this planet because of families like yours, and yours, and yours, no matter where you call home!!  I also enjoy talking about your activities because I feel strongly that they can be used as examples for other council's to attempt and possibly adopt.

As promised,  I will be outlining the Order's College Scholarship Plan for admittance to a Catholic College or University, and how easy it is for worthy students to apply.  I will also be pushing this until the deadline in March, because I KNOW FOR A FACT that our great State of Indiana has many worthy scholars out there!!!

Sincerely,

New Albany
