The SOS program at work. The money collected from you the membership made it possible to send a check in the amount of $335.00 to all the 87 diocesan seminarians throughout the State of Indiana .

We KNOW that there is a shortage of priests in all of our five diocese. As knights, we know that we HAVE an obligation to these men who hope to dedicate their lives in service to our Lord, Jesus Christ on OUR behalf. There are ways that we knights can help over come this shortage, and the ways are painless.

First, we pray. We pray that young men and women in our diocese hear the voice of Jesus calling them. We pray at every opportunity possible during each day of our life. We encourage our seminarians, both diocesan and those who wish to be order priests, by sending them letters, cards or emails during the year Prayer is powerful to use to get what we want and need. USE IT TO ITS FULLEST!

Last, but not least, we can support them financially. One dollar per member per year is not a hardship on any knight. So why not give our best shot and double, even triple the dollar asked. Certainly a couple of dollars a year will not break the bank.

BUT it will go a very long way to encourage seminarians that we knights are in their corner rooting for them to all the way to ordination.

VIVAT JESUS!
