Council, District, Regional, and State contests are being scheduled and competitors are gearing up for the competition!  District Contest Champion Medallions have been distributed to all the District Deputies. The Regional and State competition site listing is being updated and is posted on the State Website.

Remember:
AWARDS CANNOT BE OF MONETARY VALUE!!!! - I cannot stress this enough.  If ANY Council, District, Regional contest is found to have awarded anything in violation of IHSAA Eligibility/Amateurism By-Laws:

1.    All contestants will be disqualified from advancement
2.    Award recipients will be asked to return/repay the award
3.    The Council/District/Regional site will not be allowed to host a competition next year

Nobody wants that...but this is no slight matter and the IHSAA is NOT FLEXIBLE.  We CANNOT endanger the amateur status of our participants!  As always, if there are any problems, or questions, please contact me immediately.

We have the opportunity to help increase awareness among our youth of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.  The Substance Abuse Poster contest is a great way for the kids to express creativity, as well as to help drive a positive message home.
