September 2017

Worthy Brother Knights,

I am honored to be a part of your State team in Indiana.  We've recently had some very worthy Knights steering the Youth programs and I hope that I can keep things going as smoothly.  Please bear with me in this transition period.  I hope to talk to all the DD's in the near future as well as get to know as many of the Grand knights as possible.

If you haven't heard from me yet, expect a phone call in the immediate future, concerning the Soccer Challenge and coordinating the efforts of those who volunteered to host the District Level competitions.  Remember, if you host a Challenge AND a District level Challenge – it WILL count as two youth activities!

Youth Protection Policy / Safe Environment Program

HAVE YOU COMPLETED THE SAFE ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS? Isn’t it worth just a few hours of your time in training to help keep a child from being scarred for LIFE! We can never do enough to protect children and young people in our care!

Supremes’ Safe Environment Program information can be found at http://www.kofc.org/un/en/membership/safe_environment/index.html

District Deputies and Grand Knights can find further details in the “Officers Online – Desk Reference” section for the Safe Environment Program. Contact your Church office or Diocesan office for the local required Diocesan program training. If you need further assistance with the Safe Environment program, please contact our State Advocate, Scott Schutte, This email address is being protected from spambots.
